President Donald Trump called L.A. Lakers star LeBron James a “hater,” on Rush Limbaugh’s radio townhall broadcast on Friday.
Trump reiterated that he won’t be watching the NBA with all its woke attacks on America, but he also took specific aim at loud anti-Trumper LeBron James.
The president appeared on Limbaugh’s nationally syndicated radio program for two solid, commercial-free hours, and discussed a wide range of issues that are important to consider for the November general election.
At one point, the discussion turned to the NBA, and Trump spoke specifically about James.
“He’s a great basketball player, but people don’t want to see a guy that’s that way. They don’t want to see that. … He’s a hater,” Trump said of James “You don’t want to sit down, watch a basketball game, and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay.”
Trump has taken aim at James in the past. In August he took a slap at the player and CNN anchor Don Lemon in a Tweet.

The president also shook his head at how badly the NBA is doing in the ratings for its 2020 season.
After Limbaugh noted that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver recently hinted that all the social justice stuff may come to an end next season, the president replied, “Because their ratings have died. I haven’t watched a basketball game – and I helped them get open. I haven’t watched a basketball game all year.

It would be funny if the black audience, which a few years ago was the most at 45% (white audience at 40%), actually dropped in proportion to the overall drop in TV viewership. It would be hard to claim racism when everyone was walking away, although I am sure they would try.

Professional sports are dead to me...and I'm quite surprised by how little I miss them.
Try golf. Bryson Dechambeau has really put some excitement into the game. He’s the US Open winner from 2 weeks ago and is in the running for this week’s tournament. He’s muscled up and can really send the ball flying!
Also, at a tournament earlier this year, during the time of the riots, a player (I can’t remember which one) was shown in a close up of his hand as he reached into the hole for his ball.
He had a wrist band on that said “Blue Lives Matter”.

Lebron is a piece of schiff that has entirely too much influence over black youths. Somewhat related: I was in the doctor’s office this afternoon sitting in the waiting room. A black man, must have been in his mid-twenties, dressed like a thug, wearing his all too expensive sneakers, stood in the waiting room practicing imaginary free-throws. He was completely out of place and disturbing to patients. And he was a grown man (at least chronologically). You know exactly how far he will get in life and it is all his own damn fault. Lebron inspires that and a hatred for America.

Athletes are seriously overpaid, ticket prices are ridiculously high..... This may begin to fix those issues
People are supposed to turn their attention him, pretend he is cool, pretend all hip-like that they "get" it". If you don't do any of that, something is wrong with YOU.
