This is video taken out of context. He did say he's running as a proud Democrat for Senate, but then he said he ran as a proud Democrat for Vice President, and now he's running as a proud Democrat for President.

Give the old guy a break for misreading his telepropmter, saying 'running' instead of 'ran.'

yes I saw this and I am glad you posted it. I went back to watch and I believe he did make the gaffe but the teleprompter fixed his next lines to make the statement work. You could tell he was very garbled and not quite with it

As for me, I'll give him a break as soon as he apologizes for perpetuating the vile lie that Trump praised white supremacists at Charlottesville. Until then, Biden is not a nice old man who deserves the benefit of the doubt about his comments; we get to take him at his word, verbatim.
