During a series of visits in Boston and Cambridge on Friday, Dr. Deborah Birx issued warnings about the growing “silent,” asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 in Massachusetts and the northeast.
Birx, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, toured Boston University’s Clinical Testing Lab Friday before crossing the river to visit the Broad Institute’s COVID-19 testing facility in Cambridge, WHDH reports. She then met with Gov. Charlie Baker at the State House.

Yeah, last week I was asked to go get checked. Both my wife and I tested positive for Covid19. Neither of us had symptoms of any kind. Just doing a favor for a wedding party who wanted all those attending the wedding to get tested. Not even a sniffle, not a cough, no chest congestion, NO symptoms. And yet we are treated as lepers and couldn’t go to the wedding.
That’s secret code for “don’t you be goin’ to no Trump rallies now”.
She shouldn’t worry so much. She needs to go downtown, many great bars, and have a few shots of Jameson to calm down.
Yesterday I told my daughter I am dressing as Birx for a Halloween party. She tells me I don’t need to be political and I’m thinking it’s not political, there’s not much scarier than the CV task force. Am I right?

I don’t believe there is an asymptomatic spread or what ever they call it more like false positive results and you don’t really have it but they can chalk up a case and add to the numbers and say you are spreading it.

Were there going to be elderly, or compromised people at the wedding? If there were, you did everyone a favor. You realize that it is contagious and that for a small part of the population, it can make you really sick. In addition, where a lot of people work sitting next to you would require them to take two weeks off.
You shouldn’t be treated as a leper. But you should understand that when you know you have any disease, your obligation as a person is to limit its spread. Doesn’t matter if it’s covid, the flu, measles or herpes.

asymptomatic imho means you don’t have it. I saw that United/ UK is making a sort of ‘free pass’ if you have had the vaxx. Ahhh a world-wide network of all citizens/ sounds more and more like Communist China to me. Beam me up, Scottie.
Just think if all of us were asymptomatic.
In every other pandemic in history, that would mean zero cases.
