That is not her job - to make a political vote, her job is advise and consent. You don't cast a "protest vote" when you're being asked to vote on the person.She just lost any little bit of credibility she might have.

You hit the nail on the head. If she wants to “comment” verbally, ... fine. But voting “no” when she admits the candidate is qualified is wrong. All of the democrats will vote “no” knowing the candidate is fully, exceedingly qualified.

I have to cut her a little slack. She did come out in favor of Brett Kavanah when his confirmation was looking dicey and she took a lot of grief for it. Lisa Murky on the other hand is just a royal pain.
