The problem is folks believe masks work so they go out into settings which have a much higher chance of transmission. Like many things in life, the unintended consequences are worse than the perceived benefit.
Correct. I read yesterday that 85% of the new cases of Covid were mask wearers. They don’t wear them right, go into places they should not, touch them often, and reuse the masks.
