Pelosi Spectacularly Unravels on CNN After Being Asked WHY She's Holding up $1.8T COVID Relief Bill
Daily Mail UK ^ | 10/13/2020 | Francis Mulraney

Nancy Pelosi slammed CNN'S Wolf Blitzer as a 'Republican apologist' in a fiery meltdown on Tuesday evening. 'I don't know why you're always an apologist — and many of your colleagues, apologists for the Republican position,' Pelosi responded as Blitzer mentioned Khanna's comments on the bill. 'Ro Khanna, that's nice. That isn't what we're going to do. And nobody's waiting until February.' She said she could not accept the Republican deal as it is, because child tax credits and earned income credits were 'eliminated'. 'They minimize the need for childcare, which is the threshold with which people, mothers and fathers, can go to work if they have that,' she added. 'I want this very much now, because people need help now, but it's no use giving them a false thing just because the president wants to put a check with his name on it in the mail.'

'We know the problem out there,' Blitzer interrupted, 'but there are millions of Americans who have lost their jobs. They can't pay the rent. Kids need the food—'

'That's right, and that's what we're trying to get done,' Pelosi fired back. The fireworks began early in the interview as Blitzer off the bat asked Pelosi why she wouldn't accept the Republican party offer.

He asked her to look Americans 'in the eye... and explain why you don't want to accept the president's latest stimulus offer'.

'I hope you'll ask the same question of the Republicans on why they don't want to meet the needs of the American people,' Pelosi responded.

She misspoke, she meant to say, ‘Well I will not let the light be the enemy of the dark.’

I’m just guessing but there is a very high probability that Nancy is going to be thrown out as speaker prior to the election where the house democrats will also lose their majority and she would have been thrown out anyway.

This happens every time. Trump takes vicious gotcha questions all day and never loses it. A rat basically any rat one tough question and it knocks them off the rails.

Pelosi and Biden both blew up recently. WHY? Because they were actually asked a non-softball question and they are insulated from any serious questions. So when they actually get a challenge, like Trump gets 50 times a day, they blow their lids. Old time corrupt pols are never challenged if they are Democrats, they can’t handle it.

“So when you say to me, ‘Why don’t you accept theirs?’ Why don’t they accept ours?’”

Because the Socialist Democrat bill is full of the usual PORK which aids YOUR pet projects (Planned Parenthood, anything that HARMS America, etc.) and NOT ‘We The People?’

So tired of this beotch!

That said - the only people who should be getting bailouts are small businesses, IMHO.

Oh, and REOPEN THE COUNTRY TO COMMERCE, Ya Old HAG!

LIBERATE WISCONSIN! LIBERATE AMERICA!

She launched into bizarre behavior, rather than telling us all what was bad about the Republican proposal. Rather than telling us the shortcomings of the Republican proposal, she calls liberal Wolf Blitzer an apologist for the GOP. She was clearly thrown off by the line of questioning.

The "new" Tribalism.

I am simply amazed by the leaps of illogic of which supposedly university-educated people are capable.

Didn't they learn anything in "Symbolic Logic 101" and "102," "Aristotelian Logic 201" and "202?"

I'm beginning to think that these interviews should also be moderated - by someone holding a copy of "Robert's Rules of Order" in one hand and "A Thousand and One Common Fallacies" in the other - and with a mic cut-off switch sitting squarely on the table in front of him.

She launched into bizarre behavior

Those who live within a bubble echo chamber tend to react negatively and hostile whenever their bubble gets burst, even if that burst occurs from one their allies.

Therefore -- OFF WITH HIS HEAD !!!

History may repeat, and it may rhyme ... but human nature is always the same. Leftists *always* resort to hostility whenever called for their transgressions.

I’ve never been a fan of term limits. We already have term limits, we just do not implement them when we vote every two years. However, I would be in favor of mandatory retirement like we have in other public positions. I think 70 or MAYBE 75 years old should be the maximum age at which one can run for re-election.

Watching this hearing is painful. Obvious signs of age related cognitive decline.

Imagine if she were challenged the way they challenge Trump on a daily, round-the-clock basis? She’d retire within 24 hours and spend the rest of her life hiding under a rock.

The most additive drug known to mankind is not heroin, not alcohol, not crack cocaine, not even nicotine.

For those vulnerable, there is NOTHING more addictive than raw power, and the abuse of that power, over one’s fellows.

It’s simply amazing how power - til their dying day, means everything to them.

~~~
It’s spectacular to watch how someone like Joe Biden is a faint shadow of his former cognitive abilities but there is one part of the brain that does not seem to wither at all; It is ambition for more power. In fact, I would suggest that it’s all they have left to cling to; As grandiose delusion that they are better than everyone else, no matter how low they sink in personal efficacy.
She was clearly rattled and getting unhinged, at being challenged. Something is not quite right about her.
She assumed that because she was on 'friendly turf' with cnn, that she would not be asked a challenging question without being forewarned about it so that she could formulate a cute, word-salad response with a bunch of platitudes and slogans in it.
She was definitely rattled and showed how unaccustomed she is to being asked challenging questions by the media. Her declining mental faculties may have also contributed to the way she reacted.
When you accuse wolf blitzer of being a "shill for the GOP", you have definitely lost all sense of political calibration and have gone off the deep end. It was nice to hear her squirm under the line of simple questioning.
Compare the question and her reaction to the questions directed at Amy Barrett and her unflappable reactions to them. Night and day.
Fake news fabricates fake outrage. The deceit quotient is too high with Blitzer ficer to trust a genuine question would spill from his feted mouth.
