House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy brought in a record-breaking fundraising windfall in the lead-up to the November election as Republicans try to take back control of the House from Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats.

McCarthy raised more than $16 million in the third quarter across all seven of his fundraising accounts. That puts his total for the 2020 election at $103 million -- the most ever for a House Republican in any election cycle, a McCarthy campaign aide told Fox News.

The fundraising haul has allowed McCarthy to pump funds into individual House races where Republicans are trying to defeat sitting Democratic incumbents. Since 2019, he's put $49 million into campaign accounts of Republicans and the National Republican Campaign Committee, according to his campaign.

He’s been pretty rock solid backing Trump. He’s no Ryan.

If memory serves, Alan Cranston (one of the four D's and one R caught taking a bribe) held the record for a long white, to fund his campaigns for Senate. Big state, lots of rich entertainment industry nitwits then and now, and of course, foreign and/or terrorist money pours in on the D side (we can hope it's only on the D side).

Gotta agree there. He has been infinitely better at supporting Trump than Ryan the Rino.

“Big money for this RINO”

You know, I’m getting tired of the too often slams by Freepers against Kevin McCarthy’ estate. Ever since Donald Trump has become President, McCarthy has been nothing but a loyal soldier in Trump’s army, and Trump praises McCarthy often, and very much likes him.

McCarthy was wishy washy before the coming of the Trump, but now he has been doing an outstanding job for Prez Trump and the Republican Party. I wish some Freepers would get off of their rigidity of thought regarding McCarthy based on a pre-Trump Congress. Things have changed greatly since Trump was elected, and McCarthy has turned into one of the Pub Party’s greatest assets. Please folks, lay off of him. This thread is a perfect example of what good work McCarthy is doing on behalf of conservatives and our cause.

I wish he’d send some to Indiana’s 5th. Our candidate is being out spent 4-1. She has had to loan her campaign money to try to keep up. Last month the democrat raised 1.8M to her 800K. Overall the difference is 3.4M to 1.8M and that includes $200K in personal loans. It looks like the GOP has written this district off after holding it for over 40 years.
