This shows that the lockdowns and masks do not result in better outcomes.
All nations, regardless of how they handled the virus, have similar outcomes over the long term.
In the US, states that did not do strict lockdowns and mask mandates did not have worse outcomes than states with extremely strict lockdowns and strict mask mandates.
I have not seen studies on this, but population density has to be a major factor, perhaps the most important one.
That was why I always thought quarantines made a whole lot more sense than lockdowns.
If an urban area had a hospital capacity problem, you could just quarantine it and keep outsiders away from it....that was how they handled these things in the “old days”.
