True indeed. Everything needs to be authenticated. Early indications at moment point towards that they are going in that direction of being authentic. But as part of the process, like the Russian hoax, Biden should be asked daily about this to “help” the process to get to the truth. I suppose the laptop could have been setup to appear as though Hunter owned it then loaded up with intercepted data. Then dropped off with a legally blind repairman who wouldn’t be able to confirm who dropped it off.
But that doesn’t mean the data isn’t true. So far there has been some independent corroboration.
