U.S. Sen. John Cornyn acknowledged Friday that at times he has disagreed with President Trump on issues such as budget deficits and debt, tariffs and trade agreements and border security.

But, the senior Republican senator from Texas, who is being challenged by Democrat MJ Hegar, said he chose to work on those disagreements with the president’s staff in private discussions, rather than by publicly voicing his opposition.

“If I lived in Texas, I’d vote for the Democrat.”

Google “Court Packing”. If that’s too hard to understand, do the people here a favor and DO NOT VOTE.

He’s for open borders. That lowers our standard of living, lowers our wages, and increases unemployment. And it will turn Texas into California, politically - one party Blue state

I hope he loses

How exactly does one oppose Trump on border security? What kind of man is he?

...and his (Democrat) opponent will support building a wall?

So does his opponent, and he will oppose Trump's SCOTUS pick. Advantage Cornyn.

The time to get rid of Cornyn and his ilk is in the primary. Hold your nose and vote Republican in the general. That is how it’s supposed to be done.

Google “Court Packing

Google “California”. It’s a one party Democrat state. That will happen to the whole country with “Republicans” like Cornyn fighting for open borders. To secure our borders and our sovereignty, we need a party that will fight for them. With people like Cornyn in leadership, the GOP won’t. That’s why I want Cornyn and other open-borders Repubs to lose

[If I lived in Texas, I’d vote for the Democrat. Since she and Cornyn both oppose border security, so I guess I’d prefer getting rid of the open-borders Republican so we’ll have an opening for a pro-border-security candidate next time]

In a state with a 40% Hispanic plurality? That 70+ years of Communist rule certainly taught Russia’s Tsarists a lesson they’ll never forget.

I don’t agree with that philosophy. That’s why I voted against Romney for president in the general election. Bad GOP candidates have to lose in order to clear the way for good GOP candidates to be nominated and elected later.

If I were in TX I’d cancel out your vote. Just like I probable cancelled your vote in 2012 when I voted against Romney for president
