Again and again the author reverts to Biden's strength with educated whites, especially educated white females. Consider, for example, the Democrat resurgence in many of the Rust Belt states in 2018, driven by these educated whites.

In an election cycle in which by objective measures Trump has performed so well on substantive issues such as the economy, foreign affairs and, yes, Corona 19, why is Trump lagging with this demographic? Certainly college educated people should have the discernment to come to the rational analysis on these subjects.

The often served up answer is Trump's boorishness, his tweets, his alleged viciousness against those who criticize him. I rather think the answer is clearly found in the common denominator, these are college educated people, mostly of a certain age, who have been exposed to four more years of pervasive indoctrination in our leftist academies.

The woke culture grows like a fungus in the University world which ceaselessly preaches systemic racism, a world where anyone who does not accept the shibboleths of racism, gender identity or climate change are flat earthers. Once this world view becomes the impenetrable conventional wisdom , trumps tweets and boorishness become grating in the extreme.

We shall see how President Trump deals with this demographic at Thursday's debate.

I agree with your take.

I do however have a very hard time grasping how tweets seem
worse to someone than anarchy.

Bad tweets, anarchy, bad tweets, anarchy, gosh such a hard
choice.

I see people say Trump is a liar, and yet the fact is the
Left tried to pull a coup, and you can’t do that without
the ultimate in lying. How do people rationalize Trump
is worse?

It’s truly mind-boggling the level of inability to evaluate
threats.

Our government could have easily had it’s leader toppled.
Trump’s brashness is essentially all that prevented it.

Now he’s the bad guy. Those who tried to pull off the coup,
why they must be the heroes to the women like the one in
this article.

I can’t understand these people’s thinking.

Interesting. Well as a very well educated, white female, Trump has had my vote in 2016 and now 2020 EASILY. Not even a contest.

The rats lost me way back going into Clinton's second term. And they only had me before that after Bush 1. So not long.

I was crying at 10 years old when Reagan lost the primary to Ford. ;D. But we all know how that ended down the road.

I remember Trump's story of when he spoke to Reagan and Reagan asked him if he'd ever be interested in running for President.

What a moment that would have been to go back to in time and be a fly on the wall.

You forgot the 24-7 world wide media, academia, political, and social blitzkrieg of disinformation and personal attacks against Trump for the past 4 and a half years. The peer pressure to vote against Trump in some social circles of this country is enormous.

Millions of people have already voted—and many more will have voted by the middle of this week.

This debate will be fun to watch, but it will be the _least_ important Presidential debate _ever_.

Biden is already done—the votes _already_ cast have doomed him:

This may change as more colleges go under and more young people take up useful trades instead of gender and critical race studies.

Again and again the author reverts to Biden's strength with educated indoctrinated whites, especially educated propagandized white females.
