I couldn’t believe what I read about those in control of debates.
Basically a wing of the far left dem faction.
I may be in the minority, but I don’t see a lot to gain from doing this debate and a little to lose by doing it.
We’re back up to 49 percent approval on Rasmussen after dropping to as low as 44 after the debate.
I’d walk away.
Do another town hall
Microphones being shut off?? It’s an absolute insult to a POTUS to do this.
But it fits a totalitarian regime.
If Trump wins the election he will end the presidential debate commission.
There will still be debates, but not by that group.
Can you imagine the outrage if someone tried to mute button Obama. Michelle my belle, Hillary, Kamala?
I’m with you, and I feel, even in retrospect, that Trump benefited from the first debate, in spite of the bias.
I think the most that Trump can accomplish in this debate is maybe, possibly, to put a spotlight on the emerging Biden corruption scandal. But he could do that in a speech announcing that he’s not going to put up with the Debate Commission’s hyperpartisan games.
Do you really believe that 5% of the country changed their minds on whether they approved of President Trump in the past 2 weeks?
Come on man.
Were I Trump, the first time they turned my mic down, or did some other trick to hurt me, I would step out from behind my podium, walk over to the moderator, and calmly tell her that I would NOT tolerate any more biased and unfair treatment.
On the second instance, I would walk over to the moderator and calmly state that ALL of the debate and townhall efforts have been undermined by the Democrats, the stacked Debate Commission and biased moderators, and that the American people deserve the whole truth and much better than what they were given. Then I would immediately walk off the stage.
