Correct. It’s mostly the youngsters - at bars and back in school, but big drop in deaths.

US deaths have ticked up in the last week about 5-10%.

Europe cases have DOUBLED and daily death rates exceed the US for the first time since June.

Deaths always trail by about a month, and the upward trend of new cases started just over a month ago. The past three days have seen a definite increase on daily deaths. It’s not going to be as high of a fatality rate as the first wave, but we will likely go back above 1,000 deaths/day just in time for the election. As much as we want it to go away, the current daily fatality rate is about 1.5% of “daily new cases”, so as we hit 75,000 new cases per day, we will also hit 1,000 deaths per day, and the news media will scream about the massive 2nd wave.

Right. Cases without serious consequences indicate the virus is dying out.
