Hitler was appointed chancellor by Hindenberg. Is the author unaware of that?

Almost no one is aware of the real history.

Hitler LOST his election bid to replace Hindenburg as President of Germany. The Nazis did not win a majority of seats in the Reichstag, either. So, they had the opportunity given the plurality party in any parliamentary democracy to try to form a coalition government. They pulled a fast one and made Hitler their candidate for Chancellor, or Prime Minister. They cobbled together a coalition government. Within six months the Nazis had pulled off a coup from within the government and imposed a dictatorship.

The German people did not vote for this.

So, who is talking about this kind of stuff in America? How about the party who wants to pack the Supreme Court and Senate and think a President (of their party) can rule with his pen?

I have hope in two things, with regard to the imposition of a dictatorship in the US.

1. The military swears an oath to the Constitution, not the President. I don’t expect the military to go along.

2. 100,000,000 gun owners and 300,000,000 guns.

Either of those will prevent success of a coup.

I read somewhere it was middle class women that turned the Nazis from a fringe party into the largest party in the 1930 elections.
