...And the Palestinians... Im sure that will get done too.
Peace deals Ping.
Jews, please vote Trump for President, to secure the future of Israel.
Well hell...all this breakout of peace due to ground work of bammy and kerry...../s...bahahahahaha...
Holy s—t. Even Reagan couldn’t solve the MidEast jigsaw puzzle. If Trump isn’t among the top 5 Presidents of all time after 2024....
This mid-east peace stuff is not all great.
The minute the Berlin Wall came down and there was no big communist threat anymore, people decided it was safe to elect Democrats again and get back to social nonsense.
Will be watching developments with great interest. Even greater interest if a duration of 7 years is ever mentioned with regard to any peace deal for that region.
Not claiming anything. Just keeping my eyes open.
Bypassing Palestine and brokering peace directly with the belligerents was a stroke of genius, but too simple for the politicians, bureaucrats and Ivy League eggheads to figure out. I call it Straight Line Diplomacy. Win or lose next month, Trump will go down in history as a giant of statesmanship. and benefactor of peace. He untied the Gordian Knot.
I was deployed to Oman in 2002. Beautiful country and very nice people! Glad to hear this!
Will President Biden lobby the arab states to cancel their new recognitions of Israel? Has anyone asked?
The Fakestinians need to be done, yes. Done with. Once and forever. ( let them return home to Arabia/egypt, etc. those governments know how to handle Arab terrorists a lot better than Jerusalem does anyway)
Too bad Qatar is holding out. I suspect they will wait to see how the election turns out.
Voting for Trump is literally voting for peace in the Middle East. Under a Kamala/Biden regime, the left would back a second Arab Spring, and erase 4 years of gains.
Oman is good but minor. Saudi? If that happens before Election Day, it’s a game changer for an Trump landslide. In any case, the Saudis are a game changer for Israel.
At this rate, Kushner & Trump will SHARE the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021.
Effectively killing the two state solution.
This is wonderful news. Oman is an Ibadi country - Ibadi is the third major branch of Islam after Sunnis and Shias.
They generally try to be neutral in the Middle East and have had relations with Israel for decades, but now they will come out openly about it.
This doesn’t have a direct impact on Saudia - Oman is not a Saudi client state like Bahrain, nor an ally like the UAE.
But Oman is influential with both Saudia and Iran as the middle man.
If Oman normalizes the relationship with Israel, I expect to see Iran stop it’s anti-Israel slogans and actions. Iran gains nothing directly by being anti-Israel (in fact it loses out on trade etc.) - but it thought that being anti-Israel would curry the “Arab street”.
If the “Arab street” is now pro-Israel, then Iran gains nothing. It can concentrate its rhetoric on its real enemies in the region - Saudia and Turkey.
