The final vote to confirm Barrett, as expected, was 52-48.

So Commie Collins was a NO?

McConnell kept it all on track...anticipated every trick of the Dems...and countered effectively.
It's called....experience. The gentleman got us through the impeachment with the same saving grace.
Senator McConnell....Thank you.

As much as I look forward to liberal splodey-heads, it is beneath the decorum that Amy Coney Barrett deserves.
Congratulations Justice Barrett, may you honor the office that you have been nominated and confirmed to hold.

If the Rs are hypocrits then so are the Ds. They wanted Garland pushed through 4 yrs ago but don’t want Barrett approved now.

Read the article. Unless I missed it, NPR did not even give the final vote tally. NPR should not exist. There are thousands of radio stations making it on their own with no taxpayer funding. Why should NPR be privileged with taxpayer funding? Trump should abolish this worthless agency immediately.

So, every Democrat voted no, right? Even the so-called more conservative ones? This really makes me mad. How dare they! They know she is qualified, so it’s all political. The Republicans need to play this game and never vote for another Supreme Court nominee who is chosen by a Democrat president.
Republicans need to start being every bit as partisan as the Democrats always are.
