Peaking or Trump was always ahead and reports of being down were lies?
I’m a marathon runner and a key part of training is knowing when to hit it hard and when to taper so you peak at the right moment (i.e. on race day). His campaign is looking like a beautifully-executed marathon training plan, with everything falling into place just right. When you’ve achieved this precarious situation as a runner, you know the race will go well. That’s how I’m feeling about Trump’s re-election these days. C’mon man, bring that trophy home!
(COVID was his taper period. It really couldn’t have been more perfectly timed in the campaign cycle AND he seriously needed to be forced to take a break before the final push. The man just doesn’t stop!)
