SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. — The first case of someone testing positive for both COVID-19 and the flu at the same time has been reported in Solano County, according to health officials.
Solano County Public Health says getting either disease can weaken the immune system, and officials urge residents to get a flu shot as soon as possible.
“With the likelihood of both COVID-19 and seasonal flu activity this winter, contracting either disease may weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to the other disease,” said Solano County Health Officer Bela T. Matyas.
“Getting a flu vaccine this year is more important than ever, and flu vaccines are the best way to protect yourself, your family, and the community from becoming seriously ill with the flu,” Matyas said.
She also says flu symptoms can be similar to COVID symptoms.
“Symptoms of the flu can be like early symptoms of COVID-19, meaning people with flu symptoms may require a COVID-19 test and need to stay home from work and isolate while awaiting their results,” said Matyas.

I agree. Last year's flu season surely overlapped with covid too.

So male Democrat voters are more than twice as timid as Republican women voters.
That explains a lot.
Your liver does not need the additional strain.
There is a gender gap in both parties.

Biden’s hula hoops and multiple face diapers and pledges (threats) to mandate them for another year appeal to the fearful pearl clutchers...but they’re going to be too afraid to vote in person.
Advice to Republican guys: Vote in person. “Mask up” ONLY if absolutely required under threat of arrest, otherwise passively intimidate the Fearpers by being boldly barefaced.
If you are healthy with therapeutic levels of D3 and K2 in your blood, you won’t get the flu. Your only risk would be if you lacked sleep (caring for kids) or suffered an emotional loss. Those bring down the immune systems.
These CV stats are contrary to normal survey findings on liberals vs. conservatives in that conservatives usually score as more risk-avoiding and more cognizant of potential dangers. In this case, it is the reverse, by a long shot.
What kind of flu? H1N1 or the Spanish Flu or named the Swine Flu in 2009? Tamiflu medication.
I seem to remember there being a report on whether getting the flu vaccine made one more vulnerable to contacting COVID. It could have been about SARS1. I’ll have to try and find the article.
