Ronald Reagan had two kick off events for the 1984, one in SoCal and one at De Anza College in Cupertino. In those days it had been a while since Santa Clara was a Republican County, but there were still twinkling of sanity among the electorate from time to time. God bless my FR brothers and sisters there, now deep behind enemy lines, from an old FRiend now in Placer County, that still has majority R registration. Have a good time tomorrow
