I’ve never heard about American pilots being ordered to strafe refugees. Do you have a reference for that?
smokingfrog, I’m glad you asked. Reference - Yeager An Autobiography General Chuck Yeager & Leo Janos, Bantam Books, 1985 p. 63. He refers to his unit under the Eighth Air Force, but that entity was certainly not alone. Machine gunning women and children is hard to justify. I suspect that most people would think Yeager is a credible source.
It is my fervent hope that some day in the near future, a couple of Men in Black visit anyone spouting off like this “just for a friendly chat” on how they spell S-e-d-i-t-i-o-n.
Yeah, some might proudly wear that visit as a liberal merit badge, but some might get the crap scared out of them that they tone down a bit their inflammatory rhetoric.
