Alabama flips US Senate seat in pro-life victory ... Now-defeated Sen. Doug Jones voted in favor of late-term abortion.

ALABAMA, November 4, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Republican Tommy Tuberville unseated pro-abortion Democrat Senator Doug Jones in Alabama on Tuesday, a major win for pro-lifers.

The affectionate “Coach” moniker refers to Tuberville’s former career as a college football coach. Tuberville is the only coach in Auburn University football history to beat rival University of Alabama six times in a row. College football is a huge part of the state’s culture.

The southern state is generally very pro-life. When former Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) resigned to become Attorney General, he was replaced by Senator Doug Jones in a close special election in 2017.

But some constituents felt he was not the right guy for the job.

Kim Marvin is a mom of six and neonatal nurse in Alabaster, Alabama. She praised God when she heard Jones was unseated.

“He does not represent the constituency and today we affirmed that,” she told LifeSiteNews. “He was the first Democrat to be elected to the Senate [for Alabama] in 25 years. Alabamians were betrayed by Jones. He did not represent the will of the people for life. Today we made our voices heard. We voted to protect life and to protect our Second Amendment rights.”

Senator Jones voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would have banned most late-term abortions.

Last winter Jones insulted a constituent when he was asked if he believed abortion should be banned after five months. Jones quipped that it was a “stupid question.”

Doug Jones having that seat to begin with was about as crooked as things get. Nobody suffered any consequences. Roy Moore was a terrible candidate, but the cheating for Jones was ridiculous.

Slouching through NYC, L.A., Chicago...

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

...A shape with lion body and the head of a man

...That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Swapped Alabama’s (Jones’) democrat vote-the-party-line for Arizona’s McSally position.

All due McCain’s and McCain’s family’s hatred of Trump.

Ping to the state list.

Jones ..., the best I can say for him is that he is only a milquetoast democrat. He didn’t have the effrontery of a Lyndon Johnson or a Ted Kennedy. The only reason he was elected is because Roy Moore, when a young adult, dated a girl in her late teens. Because people were embarassed about that, they elected this baby killer.

Disgusting.

We put Jones in when we abandoned Trump’s judgement to back “The Judge”.

“This human rat voted exactly how Chucky told him, just like our sleeveless varmint Sinema does.”

That’s one of those things that I’ll never understand. A few cross-over votes for people like Amy, and a bit of distancing from Shumer, and Jones likely would have won, just as Manchin was able to do in 2018.

It’s almost like he didn’t want the seat, or was blind, or blackmailed by the DNC leadership.

While that was important, Roy Moore had more baggage than that. Don’t forget he was impeached from the Al Supreme Court.

What was the reason for Moore's impeachment?

What was the reason for Moore’s impeachment?”

I’m not sure if that was a rhetorical question, but I’ll answer it. Here is why:

“Moore was removed from his position in November 2003 by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary for refusing a federal court’s order to remove a marble monument of the Ten Commandments that he had placed in the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building.”

Think about that for a minute. And then he was re-elected. More was not the perfect candidate, but he is a staunch conservative. He did not molest anybody, and those who believe that he did took the media’s bait hook, line, and sinker. Moore would have been an excellent Senator.

You got it exactly correct. Without that crap about the girl, who was legal age by the way as I remember it, Moore would have probably won, even if controversial. I voted for him. I DON'T vote for Marxist Dimocrats, EVER, AT ALL!!! Period!!!!!!!!!! Stalin is Stalin. Mao is Mao. Chavez is Chavez (Venezuela), the Kim's are the Kim's. I don't vote for Marxists. It really bothers me and shames me that people in this nation vote for these people. It sickens me that this is what we have become too. These people are beyond my brain waves to understand. This is not the nation I was born in over 70-years ago. It bothers me greatly. I pray still today that the LORD will pull Trump over the finish line and defeat communism.

Sadly, I know a lot of people here don't believe in Jesus Christ. But, that aside, IF Trump loses, I firmly believe that it is GOD's judgment on this nation. That He gave us four-years to get ourselves right with Him and we haven't. We rooted after the victory of what WE DID, not anything He did. We continued on our mary way down this road to perdition and now we may be going to pay the piper. If Trump loses, GOD's final hedge of protection is being pulled back and He is going to leave us to our devices. Saying if you don't want Me in your lives, fine, good luck, you are on your own. Pulling back our protections, pulling back His watching over the nation and protecting us from enemies within and out. He is out of our schools, homes, government, even churches now days. We are saying "we don't need you or want you" (as a nation), leave us alone." So, He will leave us too it. And, yes, even those who are Believers in Jesus Christ, WILL have to go through it. We are IN this world, but NOT of this world. We are citizens of Heaven. Believe that or not, everyone here's choice. GOD gives us choice. He does not demand we follow Him. He leaves that to US!! Make our choice.

Not likely — they are gonna go for the most activist activists they can find for President-in-waiting Harris. The only good news right now is that the Senate did not flip.

Still - glad that Alabama corrected the wrong from 2 years ago. This state is our shield against what’s to come nationally.

“I walked down Roosevelt Avenue in Queens in 2015 and saw the future of America. It was chilling.”

The inner cities are a Gordian Knot.

And as the cliche goes, Trump is our last best hope.

The libs want to pour more money on it and their consultant pals. Has never worked.

Many conservatives simply want to nuke it from orbit.
Might work, but I’m too close to the blast zone.

Trump has the Platinum Plan???

“Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned” WBY

The center cannot hold.
