The Supreme Court ordered Pennsylvania Democrats to respond by Thursday evening in a case challenging the state’s three-day extension for counting mail-in ballots.

Pretty much what Newt Gingrich said. He said to not count any ballots from any of the precincts where there is known fraud. Basically, those precincts don’t exist.

PA was supposed to respond to SCOTUS by now. Does anyone know if they did? Meanwhile PA is ignoring Trump lower PA court win on another front and next PA court's to Rat appeal of that has been to stall responding to it.

Now if the legally responsible PA official flat out refuses to comply with SCOTUS order might SCOTUS's judicial power to declare them in "Contempt" extend to declaring them in "Rebellion?" Which to a bunch of Constitutional textualists should inspire thought of the one appearance of that word in the Constitution, 14th Section 3. Where it has very clear ramifications: they're fired and can never work in ANY american government again. How many in PA AG secession would be willing to fall on THAT sword before one will take on the Bork role and obey the lawful SCOTUS order order. Note that when Pres. Jackson dared his SCOTUS to enforce their order there was no 14th. Now I suspect there is minimal precedent regarding 14th § 3, not that precedent necessarily rules Textualists. I'm not sure it was supposed to work that way, but presuming Roberts bolts a 5-4 decision on it would either be written by Thomas or assigned by him and would be fun to read.

Neither is in-your-face election fraud. The Supreme Court specifically ordered him to keep the late ballots segregated and he mixed them in anyway putting him in direct violation of a court order.

I really do hope that heads roll (metaphorically or literally, I'm ok with either), and the court strikes them down hard. BUT, I just don't see that being a likely scenario. Most likely a hard slap on the wrist that fixes nothing, but they'll all be happy cause it's more than they've punished anyone before.

The high court has nearly no option BUT to take this EXACTLY that direction: to call his bluff, throw it emphatically back in his face, and force PA to do it over; the Presidential voting, at least.

That, plus get some heads rolling. Metaphorically or literally, either is good as I just told redneck.

But if they redo the Pres election, they need to redo every other one - the same fraudulent ballots had the other races listed too! Really, Repubs should be arguing this in a lot more places - there's a LOT of downticket races the Dems have taken simply because the only focus is on the Prezzie race in WI, MI, PA, and AZ. Hell, even Texas likely had a bunch of fraud, look at all the stories from Houston. Why aren't the Repubs chasing that much? Just because Trump won a location, doesn't mean there wasn't a bunch of fraud that needs to be uncovered also! The fraud just wasn't ready there for the landslide!

And it's not just redoing this election - it's fixing all the elections so they are secure and legitimate going forward. Voting weekend, no early voting or mail-in. 100% IDs. Purple fingers. Etc etc. In every single State.

And how do you do that? If the late-arriving ballots were not sequestered, how do you go in now and separate them out? They're mixed in with all of the legal ballots that were received on time.

The Court could decide to invalidate ALL ballots which had any doubt as to their arrival.

“Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on Friday ordered election officials across Pennsylvania to segregate mail-in ballots received after Election Day.

Alito temporarily granted a request by the Keystone State’s Republican Party, which said a court order was needed to ensure that all 67 election boards were complying with a directive from Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, the Washington Post reported.

Alito, the justice responsible for the region of the country that covers Pennsylvania, gave state officials until Saturday afternoon to respond, the paper said.

The development marked the latest twist in a legal battle over the counting of mail-in ballots in the crucial swing state.

Last month, the high court upheld a decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to extend the deadline for ballots to arrive until three days past Election Day.

But Boockvar directed that any ballots that came in during that time be set aside because the state GOP was challenging the legality of including them in vote totals.

Last week, the US Supreme Court declined to expedite a hearing in the case.

In emergency court papers filed Friday, Republicans said that “a total of 25 Pennsylvania county boards of elections have not indicated whether they are segregating the late-arriving ballots.”... read more
