During an interview on CNN on Wednesday, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) commented on the Democrats’ performance in Senate races by stating that Democrats faced “a really tough map, and every single person that looked at it, any expert on this would say that, from the get-go.”

Even if (Gawd Forbid!) we end up losing and get stuck with ‘Dementia Man’ the House has improved and the Senate will hold.

Worst case scenario. :(

Tough map?? Where has seen been hiding?

The media and all the polls showed a GOP wipe-out everyday for the entire year! How could this have possibly happened?

22 out of 34 seats were Republican. That’s a “tough map?” How could they NOT have picked up 3 or 4 seats?

Ya, that’s what I thought I heard a few days ago, that this was a very tough map this year for Republicans. Not the Democrats.

Oh well, retroactive changing of opinions happens with Democrats. So now they want to say, the Democrats did very well with Senate races in spite of a tough map. Ok, then.............

This election defies reasonable thinking. Is it believable that Republicans held many seats in the House and Senate and flipped an estimated 10 seats in the House and the people rejected the President. Not very likely.

"the House has improved and the Senate will hold."

You might want to start looking towards Georgia where there will be 1 and potentially 2 runoffs with bad outcomes, and Alaska where one traitorous whore is ready to go "Independent" and hook up with the enemy. Perhaps those things won't happen but it's far from being impossible, and the actual worst case scenario is a lot worse than many people realize.

Here in my part of Florida, all Democrats I looked into were awful.

I voted straight Republican.

And by "tough map" bitter old Karen means one where the vast majority of Senate seats up for re-election were held by the GOP.

I rejoice in the old mule's discomfiture.

Tough map? the Republicans had to defend a lot more seats. This was one of the most favorable maps for Democrats.

When the other party has the majority of seats up for election that’s not a “tough map” that’s opportunity to pick up seats. I guess the Democrat vote stealers decided to focus most of their attention on the presidential race, but no doubt they stole the race up in Michigan for Gary Peters over John James!

Well it’s good to see they’ve developed introspection into potential reasons why they lost, you know, like their anti-American kook agenda wasn’t so popular with the electorate

All along they were saying that with the republicans defending more seats than the democrats, that this was an election cycle ripe to flip the Senate.

Now the excuses come out for why their radical agenda of ending the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court was rejected.
