ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Civilized nations are bound to obey the law of war embodied in the Geneva Conventions. The Conventions outlaw acts such as the intentional targeting of civilian populations and the creation and stockpiling of biological weapons. Despite those obligations, China is evidently eager to violate the Conventions because of opportunities presented by the advance of medical science.
At least since the 2002 publication of “Unrestricted Warfare,” a book by two People’s Liberation Army (PLA) colonels, Chinese military thinking has extended the concept of a battlefield to every aspect of military and civilian existence. The unlimited “battlefield” now means that China intends to include biological warfare among the most significant means of fighting a war.
From several news reports beginning in 2019 we know of a 2010 book called, “War for Biological Dominance,” by a professor at China’s Third Military Medical University, which emphasized the use of biological warfare. The theoretical basis continued in a 2015 essay by Gen. He Fuchu (then-president of China’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences) in which he argued that biotechnology will become the new “strategic commanding heights” of national defense, from biomaterials to “brain control” weapons.

Judging by Fauci's, The CDC's and the Surgeon General's response to the pandemic, I have to say a resounding NO!
Although I'm not convinced that Fauci didn't help develop the corona virus using OUR tax dollars he gave to the Wuhan Lab.
Not just China. Viral weapons are cheaper, simple to deploy and far more deadly than nukes. Look for Iran and North Korea to cook up the next wave.
Of course he did! He helped and funded their lab do work prohibited in the US. Under those circumstances, he had a moral duty to monitor them. When their lab developed Covid 19 as a biological weapon, Fauci either knew about it directly or had a moral responsibility to know. He’s as guilty as the Chicom government.

They have done it for a long time. In 1986, I was invited to a presentation at a major state university by a senior Chinese government official.
His general subject was how to do business in China. One thing that was absolutely required was linkage to a Chinese company in the same business. They had to have some ownership interest in your company. Another mandatory requirement was the sharing of of business and trade secrets with the Chinese “partner.” Any patents developed during the partnership were also co-owner.
My take-away from that was never to get involved with China. They were quite clear and up front with the requirements, so the US government and businesses knew exactly what they were getting into.

Oh but the humanity of killing all those Chinese. Well I have as much sympathy for them as they did for the rest of the world with their occasional releases of biological weapons on us.
Which other hostile foreign powers has Fauci given millions of US taxpayer dollars to do work prohibited within the US to develop bioweapons?
