Republicans have that lead. But we shouldn’t rely on it.

the first hurdle is at the State level.
Republican legislatures must not send the wrong slate of electors.
Pressure must be applied locally on the Republican legislators at the State level in each contested State.

Definitely shouldn’t rely on it. If we get to 269-269, what are the odds the Dems don’t get one of Trump’s 269 electors to flip? I’d say non-zero odds for sure. While SCOTUS held earlier this year that faithless elector laws are enforceable, only 14 states have them.

By the same token, if it ends up 269-269, or even a narrow lead for Biden, we should push just as hard to flip a Biden elector or two.
