The social media app Parler, partially owned by Dan Bongino, has announced that a previously unknown investor is billionaire donor Rebekah Mercer, contradicting online speculation of a nefarious foreign shadow donor.
“Parler, the rapidly growing social media platform committed to free speech, announced today that its previously unknown investor (NDM) is Rebekah Mercer, who is widely known for her dedication to philanthropy and upholding American values,” Parler said in a press release obtained by the Washington Examiner on Saturday.

Sounds like she made a good investment
The Mercers and Adelsons have been a godsend for the conservative movement. Far more focused and generous than the libertine Kochs, who are now thick with the Democrats.

Wonder how twitter and youtube are going to like having their archived content porting it's way over to parlor and rumble
It's not like YouTube or twitter actually creates anything, all they have is user furnished content that is uploaded free of cost to them.
And BTW, their service is not that great at times. They just get away with it due to convince and being the only source.
Competition will be great and not having them harvesting data from users is a big plus.

That may be a good thing. It prevents nasty people, including malicious overseas people, from creating TONS of accounts and overwhelming their system with crap.
It is kind of ironic that many freepers have been going nuts over the rumor that our votes went overseas to be counted, but they push parler as a good thing even though they can store your comments / photos / files in foreign countries.

I am on parler as are about 5-6 of my fakebook friends. My handle is billhos.
They’re probably being overwhelmed by new sign-ups. In the normal course of events, they’d send your phone # a text message. I’d try this maybe once a week or, if you’re impatient, once a day until you get through.
