MIAMI — More men get sick and die from COVID-19 than women do and researchers at the University of Miami may have found part of the reason why.

According to a newly released study, COVID-19 invades some men’s testicles.

Researchers at the university tested the testicles of men who died from COVID-19 and found the virus inside the reproductive organs.

This article is strangely done. It starts with the statement that 'More men get sick and die from COVID-19 than women do and researchers at the University of Miami may have found part of the reason why.'

But it doesn't address that in the article - article just conjectures as to how Covid may impact fertility.

I don't have time to read the actual study, but have they tested women's ovaries, and disallowed for many other factors that might lead to a higher mortality in males?

(The Chinese don't need to diminish our fertility rate - we're doing plenty of that of our own volition.)
