My sister-in-law told of a similar situation back in the 1940s. After the kids complained about a local “too friendly” man, some members of her dad’s club waylaid the local pervert and put him in the hospital. No cops, no lawyers. The pervert soon left town.

My sister-in-law told of a similar situation back in the 1940s.

This happened to my wife in the early 1960s. We have a couple large military bases here and lots of veterans and active military. Her dad was in the army for 28 years and was tough as nails. They knew how to handle something along these lines without further traumatizing the kids involved. The guy who disappeared had a family but they were apparently better off without him.
