Doctors on the White House Coronavirus Task Force stressed to Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday that the coronavirus pandemic situation is dire and only getting worse, two senior administration officials familiar with the meeting told CBS News. The doctors fear the U.S. could see an average of 1,500 deaths a day next week, and up to 2,000 a day by Christmas without any changes to mitigation measures.
The doctors on the task force are also concerned the predicted spikes will completely overrun hospitals and force the U.S. back to the hectic early phase of the pandemic. To prevent this from happening, the doctors are recommending that bars close and restaurants stop offering indoor dining. However, they believe schools can stay open because data shows the transmission rates are low.
The health officials on the task force are urging either Pence or President Trump to stress to the public from the briefing room podium the importance of taking mitigation measures to slow the spread of the virus. They feel such action would add weight to the message that everyone must take the ongoing pandemic seriously and make it clear the virus is out of control. As of publication, Pence is not scheduled to speak at a coronavirus briefing.
Pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Pfizer in the last two weeks have offered promising news on the vaccine front. But public health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci have warned that the country is in for a long, dark winter, when people will spend more time inside, where the risk of spreading and contracting COVID-19 is much higher.

Local hospitals here are approaching Covid capacity, so something is going on.
Was watching news from Japan yesterday and they are surging as well, so it isn’t just the US and Europe.
It’s absolutely depressing to go out on social media platforms like Reddit or Imgur and see how completely brainwashed are the youth on this. They are absolutely terrified to the extent that they would voluntarily lock themselves into a hermetically sealed room until this was all over, if it ever was.

No, they aren't! Hospitals are being paid subsidies to "treat" COVID patients, so anyone who comes in presenting with "flu-like symptoms" or even testing positive for COVID antibodies means they're marked at "COVID patients."
One local hospital here in the Tampa area was caught marking death certificates with "COVID" when someone died from something completely unrelated but at one time tested positive either through the swab for active or blood test for antibodies. There are dozens if not hundreds of similar cases around the country and the world where this is happening.
They are deliberately sowing fear among the populace as a means to control us. COVID is survivable in >99% of cases if you're under the age of 60 and even those over 60 have a >90% survival rate. This is NOT a pandemic.

It’s called a virus. When something goes viral, doesn’t that mean it spreads everywhere. There will be some people who already have immunity, the rest will get it in one form or another. That’s how a virus plays out.
All the masks made from leftover underwear cloth aren’t going to help, and I’ve never seen any scientific report that states gyms, restaurants and bars are the main source of infection, but Amazon deliveries, Walmart, and Target are AOK.

This sounds like big-time propaganda. Is this what is needed until the election is completely resolved? So the question is this: How can we have fewer deaths in the US if there is a pandemic going on?
For the last 100 years, there has never been a decrease in total deaths per year in the US.
If this were a normal year, with no pandemic, we should have around 2,875,000 deaths.
But this isn’t a normal year so we should end up with around 3,200,000 deaths when you add in the Covid-19 deaths.
Someone isn’t telling us the truth (media? or government?).
