My father was friends with a guy who worked in the industry. Even back in the 1980s it was controlled by the left and they were extremely hostile to older books that weren’t PC. Writers like Robert E. Howard and H.P. Lovecraft particularly attracted their ire hence the stimga attached to them as “pulp literature”. Now they’re trying to remove them from the shelves altogether.

I’ll have to look for those authors...I collect “old” books that would not be pc today.
