Now Trump can appoint him acting head of CIA or any other position he wants. And according to what I read yesterday, since bitem got transitioned, POTUS can make any appointments he want without anyone else's say-so, to last for 30 days.

I guess there is no choice right now. I hope there are not any laws prohibiting the general from holding appointed posts. I hope the general and others will start an alternate party to the Republican/Whigs. True patriots will flock to that alternative.
