Stupidity seems to be the key to advancement in Congress, especially the House. Witness Maxine Waters, as just one out of hundreds. The only smarts they seem to have are street smarts; and not in a good way.
Change the headline to “useful tool.”
House elections are popularity contests and based on name recognition. I would imagine the number of uninformed voters who just pick a name because it’s the only one they’re familiar with, is staggering.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To this day, I still can’t grasp what men see in the singer, Madonna (and she’s had lots if them).
Always thought Madonna was a Pig.
No appeal as far as I’m concerned
“hey little school girl, I’m a little school boy too...”
The ‘Noodles for Brain’ candidate of the group last Dem go-around.
Fangs for the memories, Christina.
A person’s personality and character is more important than looks...of course being good looking is a plus.
Which still probably doesn’t explain what men see in madonna.
“Didn’t he run for President and bail very quickly????”
Yep and his father was or is the Dublin CA chief of police.
Swalwell was very anti-2A.
True but the ability to be compromised is more important.
Bttt.

Did Swalwell have gas from eating too much Chinese?
Pretty sure that Swalwell tapped that.
“ Americans are irredeemably stupid.”
Even more of a problem...Americans are always angling for a payoff...particularly American politicians. We are greedy and need a LOT of money to live the way we think we should. I doubt there aren’t more than a handful of politicians in D.C. (or elsewhere for that matter) who aren’t paid off to the hilt. And China is the biggest buyer.
“The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” The rope appears to be our own politicians.
Yes, he’s the fart that roared
As ACCURATE and TRUTHFUL a statement as I have seen posted regarding Swalwell.

While we have often heard that members of Congress, who are not only exempt from insider trading oversight, are also ardent daytraders we had never seen it in action. Until now. The following publicly filed monthly Periodic Transaction Report by Democrat Congresswoman, Judy Chu, shows us just how pervasive daytrading is not only for algos, but for those who supposedly are paid to serve their constituents. What is interesting is the size of the trades - between $1,000 and $15,000 each, this is not some novice, penny pincher; what is even more interesting are the underlying securities of choice: volatile,...
Calif. Democrats dump donations from fundraiser facing warrant 8/29/2007, 10:58:42 PM · by NormsRevenge · 20 replies · 751+ views AP on Bakersfield Californian ^ | 8/29/07 | Erica Werner - ap
California Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer followed presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton's lead on Wednesday and announced they would get rid of donations from a fundraiser who is wanted for sentencing on a 1991 grand theft charge. Two California Democratic House members, Mike Honda of San Jose and Doris Matsui of Sacramento, also said they were dumping campaign cash from Norman Hsu. The moves came after two days of scrutiny on Norman Hsu, who had donated $23,000 to Clinton. The New York senator plans to give the money to charity. Hsu gave $1,000 to Feinstein and $2,000 to...

It angers me, disgusts me, and makes me very sad, but I couldn’t agree more.
