Peace Mission 2005

Peace Mission 2005 was the first ever joint military exercise between China and Russia.

The exercise started on August 19, 2005, and consisted of combined land, sea, and air elements simulating an intervention in a state besieged by terrorists or political turmoil.

It concluded on August 25, 2005. The force practiced air and naval blockades, an amphibious assault, and occupying a region. Approximately 8,000 Chinese troops took part along with 2,000 Russian troops.

China initially wanted to hold the exercise near the Taiwan Strait, Russia wanted to hold the exercise in Northwestern China near central Asia, but instead settlement was made on the Shandong Peninsula.

There are a number of reasons for the exercise, including:

China is the largest consumer of Russian military technology. The exercise will showcase the Russian weapons including the Tupolev Tu-22M and Tupolev Tu-95 long range bombers.

The two countries are by far the most influential in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the exercise will help to strengthen military ties.

Both countries have stated that the exercise is not directed at any one country, but many believed to be a show of force against the United States and particularly Taiwan.

The United States was not invited to observe the exercise, but did observe using satellite reconnaissance.[citation needed] The stated reason for the exercise is counter-terrorism; however, many analysts agree that the use of such heavy firepower, including long-range bombers, is not necessary. ...”

Military representatives of the member States of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) signed a joint Protocol on the results of the second round of consultations and staff negotiations.

The signed agreement includes issues of comprehensive support of troops and the plan of the exercise stages. Also, during the joint work, the participants visited the Yurginsky training ground, where they conducted reconnaissance of the main stage site.

In addition, the foreign military inspected the place of overcoming the water crossing on the equipment. This will be the first experience for some participating countries.

The consultations were attended by representatives of 8 countries - Russia, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The negotiations were led by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Central Military District, Major General Rustam Minnekayev.

The anti-terrorist exercise “Peace mission-2020” will be held in August on the territory of the Central Military District at the Yurginsky training ground in the Kemerovo region.

During the exercise, the military personnel will have to work out the tasks of preparing and conducting an anti-terrorist operation by the joint group of troops (forces) of the SCO member States.

Steele’s Dossier Source Was a Suspected Russian Spy

Through a couple of cut-outs, Steele had been retained by the Clinton campaign to dig up — or, alas, to make up — Russian dirt on Trump. Through his private intelligence business in London, Steele was known to be working for Russian oligarchs, while Danchenko was on Steele’s payroll.

Fox News: John Brennan Suppressed Intel Saying Russia Wanted Hillary Clinton to Win

Fox News’ Ed Henry reported Tuesday evening that Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has declassified information calling into question the conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump.

Henry told Tucker Carlson on Tucker Carlson Tonight that the new information would suggested John Brennan, who headed the Central Intelligence Agency under President Barack Obama, “also had intel saying, actually, Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win because she was a known quantity, she had been secretary of state, and Vladimir Putin’s team thought she was more malleable, while candidate Donald Trump was unpredictable.”

Former National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz made a similar claim in an article on FoxNews.com April 22:

House Intelligence Committee staff told me that after an exhaustive investigation reviewing intelligence and interviewing intelligence officers, they found that Brennan suppressed high-quality intelligence suggesting that Putin actually wanted the more predictable and malleable Clinton to win the 2016 election.

Instead, the Brennan team included low-quality intelligence that failed to meet intelligence community standards to support the political claim that Russian officials wanted Trump to win, House Intelligence Committee staff revealed. They said that CIA analysts also objected to including that flawed, substandard information in the assessment.

On Tuesday, Henry said that he had obtained independent confirmation of the claims made by Fleitz in that report.

For three years, the received wisdom in Washington has been that 17 intelligence agencies concluded that Russia had interfered in the election to help Trump win. It then transpired that only four agencies had actually been involved.

The Senate Intelligence Committee, chaired by embattled Republican Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), issued a report last month that appeared to confirm the work of the intelligence agencies.

However, that conclusion may soon be contradicted.

President Trump has accepted the claim that Russia interfered in the election — though he does not believe Russia actually helped him win, and he has publicly cast doubt on the idea that Russia preferred him over Clinton, his Democratic rival.

Breitbart News noted in 2017: “[T]he Russians may just as well have preferred Hillary Clinton, who had given Russia everything it wanted while serving as President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State — from the ill-fated “reset,” to a surrender of U.S. missile defenses in Eastern Europe, to the sale of 20% of America’s uranium reserves to a Russian company closely tied to the Russian state.”

“This could be a bombshell,” Henry told Carlson on Tuesday.

“President Barack Obama “bows” and “scrapes” to America’s Chinese “enemy,” House Science Committee Chairman Ralph Hall said Wednesday.

After a long grilling of White House science adviser John Holdren by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) about why the United States shouldn’t be pursuing scientific collaborations with China, Hall, a Texas Republican, said:
“I don’t think you’re gonna get the answer that you expected to get, Mr. Rohrabacher. I too have seen our president bow and scrape to the enemy on many occasions.”

There was no response to Hall’s comment.

Rohrabacher had asked Holdren at the committee hearing why the Obama administration was so committed to collaborating with China, given the country’s human-rights record and history of technological espionage against the United States.

“Why is it that you feel — this administration feels — so compelled to reach out to the world’s worst human-rights abuser that is already in the process of stealing so much from us and who we have examples, over and over again, that scientific cooperation has turned into a transfer of wealth and technology to our adversary, to what appears to be economic, if not military and political adversary?” Rohrabacher said.

If the label says “Biden,” it was definitely influenced by China. – John Solomon at JustTheNews.com is reporting that The National Legal and Policy Center has asked the U.S. Department of Education to investigate its findings that the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has, over the past several years, accepted more than $22 million in anonymous China-originated donations to its Biden Center and failed to properly disclose the contributions.

From Solomon’s report: The complaint, filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, says that over the past three years, the university has accepted around $22 million in anonymous funding from Chinese sources. That’s out of a total of more than $70 million from Chinese donors during that time, the NLPC said.

Those significant funds, including the anonymous amounts, rolled in after the Biden Center was announced in early 2017 and launched in February 2018. The center is located in downtown Washington, D.C. Federal records show that the University of Pennsylvania has received significant donations from China since the opening of the center.

One 2018 donation alone totals $14.5 million; it is listed as “anonymous” in federal records. The NLPC alleges the university may have violated federal law in accepting those anonymous monetary donations. The Higher Education Act mandates schools report the national origins of any donations above $250,000 although not necessarily the individual names of donors themselves. [End]

This serves as just one more reminder that Biden, his son and his brother (even his nieces by his sister) have long been in the pockets of Chinese interests. The stark reality facing our country today is that, should Biden manage to win the election in November, all of the gains President Donald Trump has made through the sheer force of his will in terms of U.S./China relations and trade policy will be immediately reversed the day after Biden assumes office.

If you like the fact that virtually all U.S. antibiotics and PPE are sourced through China at some point along their supply chains and want it to stay that way, vote for Biden. Because that would be a fait accompli should he win.

There are trillions of Chinese dollars at stake, and Creepy Uncle Quid Pro China Joe wants to ensure his family continues to get its fair share.
