Kyle Rittenhouse's original lawyer says he is no longer part of his criminal defense team, but he is still trying to raise money for his client through a brand new website, and planning a different kind of defense.

But I know from a previous articla that John Pierce has dropped from the criminal defense and instead will focus on civil defense (likely from lawsuits filed by those Kyle shot. Two of the three felons Kyle shot are decaying underground and the third, AKA Lefty, is having his right arm rebuilt.
Pierce has lawsuits filed against him for various financial problems he is haviing.
I believe Lin Wood is still involved and there is an attorney in Wisconsin, IIRC.
What is wrong with the original defense?
President Trump should pardon this poor teen being prosecuted for political reasons. All who were killed were attempting to murder him and got exactly what they deserved.
I don’t think he was charged with a federal crime.
Rittenhouse is not charged with a Federal crime, so Trump can’t pardon him.
