Brandon Bernard executed by federal government despite objections

The federal government on Thursday night executed convicted murderer Brandon Bernard, ignoring calls for clemency from many — including Kim Kardashian.

Bernard, 40, was put to death by lethal injection in Terre Haute, Indiana, for his role in a 1999 double murder on a Texas military base committed when he was 18 years old.

His attorneys Thursday night had sought an 11th-hour stay of execution, which was denied by the US Supreme Court.

“They killed Brandon. He was such a reformed person,” Kardashian tweeted. “So hopeful and positive until the end. More importantly he is sorry, so sorry for the hurt and pain he caused others.”

Kardashian earlier Thursday had called again on Trump to intervene.

“Brandon Bernard, a 40-year-old father, is going to be executed tomorrow by our federal government,” Kardashian, tweeted the day before the execution.

Bernard was among five teenagers convicted of abducting Todd and Stacie Bagley.

One of the teens, then-19-year-old Christopher Vialva, shot the couple, who were in the trunk of their car. Bernard then lit the vehicle on fire.

Bernard and Vialva were sentenced to death in 2000. Vialva was executed in September.

The other three teens were under 17 at the time of the crime and avoided the death penalty.

“Brandon made one terrible mistake at age 18,” Bernard’s lawyers said in a statement after he was executed.

“But he never stopped feeling shame and profound remorse for his actions in the crime that took the lives of Todd and Stacie Bagley.”

For all of his supposed “reform” that couple who was in the trunk is still dead. Now so is one more of their murderers.

But now Brandon has paid the price for his crime? All is now forgiven.

If he made himself right with God, he’s even in Heaven.

So what’s the problem?

[[More importantly he is sorry, so sorry for the hurt and pain he caused others.”]]

Well then he shouldn’t have minded paying for the horrible crime he committed then- sorry Kardashian- not buying your sob story-

[[“But he never stopped feeling shame and profound remorse for his actions in the crime that took the lives of Todd and Stacie Bagley.”]]

Yeah? Well Stacie and Todd stopped feeling altogether- permanently!

Murder isn’t a ‘mistake’- it’s premeditated- He didn’t just kill some folks by accident, He made a decision to murder them in a most horrible manner- and it doesn’t matter ‘how remorseful’ he was- He is still a murderer who committed a vile horrible act-

Karla Fay Tucker was very remorseful too, and reformed as well- but she did a horrible thing, and knew she was gettign what she deserved-

Life aint a game- make the right decisions!

ignoring calls for clemency from Kim Kardashian

I suspect that one was easy to ignore.

21 years for justice to be meted out. Seems a tad excessive.

People instinctively know right from wrong even at a very
young age.

Sorry, don’t do the crime if you don’t want to do the time,
or pay the penalty.

That couple didn’t deserve what happened to them.

This guy got what he deserved.

When people die in the commission of a crime you are a
party to, you’re as guilty as the guy who pulled the
trigger.

Don’t hang out with idiots. They take you down.

No thanks to the Supreme Court

No thanks from the many more Blacks murdered by younger teens either.

They should have killed this guy after he was sentenced.

Better still... They should have killed them both when they caught them and saved taxpayers the cost of the trial and paying for their room and board for 20 years.

Here’s a thought: Do not commit murder in states that have the death penalty. Not killing people is not that hard.

Dear Kim Kardashian:

His two victims were sorry too... sorry they didn’t get to live a longer life because the piece of sh*t Brandon murdered them.

What an incredibly vapid, stupid human being you are, lady.

Wonder how you’d feel if it were your family members that “Brandon” murdered?
