New reports indicate the reason behind Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-Calif.) resignation as the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee was cognitive decline.
According to an article by the ‘New Yorker,’ a few senate staffers reported Feinstein’s short-term memory has deteriorated in the last year. They added she gets upset when she can’t remember or keep up with briefings.

Feinstein was no damned good when she was cognitive so what is the difference if she is in a state of “cognitive decline”?
To: cba123
She has nothing on Thurmond. Or Moses whose “eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated” To quote the RSV version of Deuteronomy 34:7.
Poor Joe. His eye has always been dim, but his “natural force” appears to still be going strong.
(The English treads gently on something that would not amuse Queen Victoria).

Every six years they go before the voters of their state. That is a good enough test for me.
While I do not see age as disqualifying Trump at the moment, the man is incredible for someone his age, I really wonder if in 2024 he will be showing the ability to keep things up for another four years. Still, he has nothing on Moses.

She is the eminently qualified to become the ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

I think you could do 30 cognitive tests on Trump, and he’d pass all of them. Biden (at least in the 2020 version) would likely fail all 30. Biden in 2019? I think he was mostly functional and his decline (especially after Xmas 2019) has been remarkable and steady.
I expect more ‘dog-accidents’ to occur in January, and be a regular theme throughout 2021. Someone will eventually ask if we can trust Biden with the nuke-suitcase guy and that will be the moment where this fantasy game ends.

She f’ed up the Richard Ramirez, Night Stalker case in the ‘80s. Should have been lynched then.

I like the way you think. I’ve always been a fan of hung, drawn, and quartered as a means of execution.

This comes from the same party that nominated Joe Biden and hung on to Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the very end.
