White House staff members who work in close quarters with President Trump have been told they are scheduled to receive injections of the coronavirus vaccine soon, at a time when the first doses of the vaccine are being distributed only to high-risk health care workers, according to two sources familiar with the distribution plans.
The goal of distributing the vaccine inside the West Wing is to prevent additional government officials from falling ill in the final weeks of the Trump administration. The hope is to eventually distribute the vaccine to everyone who works in the White House, but will begin with some of the most senior people who work around the president, one of the people said.
It is not clear how many doses are being allocated to the White House, or how many are needed. While many Trump officials said they were eager to receive the vaccine and would take it if it were offered, others said they were concerned it would send the wrong message by making it look like Trump staff members were hopping the line in order to protect a president who already had the virus and has bragged that he is now “immune.”

One of the largest medical systems in the U.S. will NOT require its 89K employees to get the Covid vaccine due to “general uncertainty” around such a new treatment.

UPMC is preparing to begin offering COVID-19 vaccine to front-line health care workers as soon as this month.
Dr. Graham Snyder, UPMC’s medical director of infection prevention and hospital epidemiology, said UPMC’s mandatory flu vaccination policy “is based on decades of experience with the influenza vaccine.”
But there’s no comparable data for a COVID-19 vaccine, or on whether a mandate is the best way to get large numbers of people to become vaccinated, Snyder said on Tuesday.

I am surprised that PDJT isn’t/hasn’t been raked over the coals over his no mask at the Army/Navy game especially since all the General Officers were masked..(setting a good example IF they ordered the Cadets/Middies to mask up.)

Given lefties have been saying for months they don’t trust a vaccine created during the Trump Administration, why do they care if people at the White House are getting it early?
Well if they actually receive the real thing, I feel for them.

Every time Trump appears before the media the first question will be something along the lines of "When you don't follow CDC guidelines about face masks and social distancing at White House functions and your rallies why should White House staff get their vaccine ahead of the elderly and those with contributing health issues?" This is going to be used to try and embarrass Trump every chance they get. Whoever came up with this is doing the President absolutely no favors.
