President Donald Trump has vented his fury at late Senator John McCain, following the release of newly declassified text messages from former FBI agent Peter Strzok indicating that McCain leaked the infamous 'dirty dossier' to legendary journalist Carl Bernstein.
'Check out last in his class John McCain, one of the most overrated people in D.C.' Trump tweeted late on Wednesday of the Arizona Republican who died of brain cancer in 2018, linking to a report on the new messages.
The text messages, released by Republican Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley on Wednesday, include a January 9, 2017 exchange between Strzok and Lisa Page, then the FBI lawyer with whom he was having an affair.

McCain was a first class louse. Screwed the Vietnam MIA families, corrupt as could be with AZ developers, a backstabber to his voters on Obamacare, dissed Sarah Palin (who bc of her, many of us regretfully voted for this arse over Obama). Is his funeral still ongoing? I thought it, and the phony “tributes” would never end.
And we thought the Manchurian President was fiction. Now we know we have been electing them for decades.
McCain was actually third from the bottom of his class. One of his classmates is a neighbor of my mom. The joke at the USNA was that all you had to do to graduate was stay above McCain on the Order of Merit List.
I thought McCain WAS last in his class.
McCain was supposed to be the legitimate channel for the Deep State to get the dossier from the alleged Russians. How better way could they manufacture than for a sitting U. S. senator (his designated bag man) to be given a copy in London and then ferry it to McCain in Washington, D. C. Then McCain passes it on to the designated recipients. It all had the real cloak and dagger appearance on the surface. It all had McCain thinking he was a major player in the subterfuge. He was a useful idiot mule. Why, because everyone that needed a copy of the dossier already had their copy—including Strozck and Page.
He’s being remembered for the lying POS he was!!!
Unfortunately, Bernstein has not yet shucked off his mortal coil.
