That isn’t help, that is suckering the American people into doing stupid crap like shutting down their businesses.

Only feeble minded idiots think this is help.

How much of the money in this bill goes to democrat victim groups, corrupt democrat mayors to bail out their excessive budgets (gutted by corruption and kickbacks) and what percentage of the ‘business’ money only goes to democrat small businesses...

It’s actually compensating people, per the 5th Amendment, for the effective takings that their moron governors* are imposing on them.

*GOP and Democrat both!

Open back up now!

So when does the US Dollar and the stock market crash? I would guess right before the next Great Reset meeting of the elites.

There seems to be amazingly little going to state and local governments, from what I could tell by reading the article.

Tolerance Sucks Rocks : " Coronavirus PING! "

What Congress has done is to agree to throw a rope to the sinking economy,
but there is no life preserver at the end for survivors.
Too little ,..too late !
Thanks Nancy for your months long tantrum, and 'rant and raving', ..and ended up getting squat.

It is NOT compensation. The federal government derives no money. It creates no wealth. It only taxes the people to take money from them.

So, you got your rights violated and had your businesses taken from you then the government borrows from you to tax you later to pay for what it borrowed from you and you call that compensation??

That’s retarded.

Once I get mine (probably in the vicinity of $450, given my income level), it’s all going straight to Samaritan’s Purse.

Undoubtedly loaded with all kinds of Dim pork, but the people who need money only get $600, which won’t go far. Nice, vastly increase our national debt and further weaken our country. STOOPID!

I agree. She could have moved the original Problem Solvers’ Caucus compromise through two months ago. There was a bigger stipend ($450 dollars), albeit for a shorter period of time (8 weeks). There was also around $500 billion dollars for states to make them whole, after they shot themselves in the foot, tax-wise, by locking their economies down. Also around $110 billion for skrewels, and a host of other things as well.

The package overall would have been about $1.5 trillion. When combined with unspent COVID-III money, it might have been enough to get us to the current point, when the vaccines started to roll out.
