Since election day, various guests, attorneys and elected officials have appeared on Newsmax TV and offered opinions and claims about Smartmatic and Dominion Systems, both companies that offer voting software in the U.S.

Newsmax would like to clarify its news coverage and note it has not reported as true certain claims made about these companies.

There are several facts our viewers and readers should be aware. Newsmax has found no evidence either Dominion or Smartmatic owns the other, or has any business association with each other.

We have no evidence Dominion uses Smartmatic’s software or vice versa.

We saw that last night. Good GRIEF! Does Newmax not have attorneys who will say “See you in court”?

I am sure Newsmax has top flight quality attorneys. Maybe that's why they issued this "clarification". It sounds like Newsmax was told of the consequences if they did not do so.

Smartmatic is only used in LA County, CA. Minor player in elections.

I don’t get that either. I don’t think either of these companies want to open themselves up for the discovery that comes with a lawsuit.

Then why did Dominion lock up and move out of their Denver HQ immediately after the election BS came to light?

Ok, here’s one fact to check - is there any RELATIONSHIP at all between DOMINION and SMARTMATIC?

I’m not talking interlocking ownership ,but does one use the software of the other and if so, are there mutual political interests in election outcomes?

RE: Then why did Dominion lock up and move out of their Denver HQ immediately after the election BS came to light?

Is this a fact? Or is this fake news? Isn’t Dominion’s HQ in Canada?

Issuing disclaimers like this one is what happens when GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS at all levels put up roadblocks and stonewall any investigation of the 2020 election.

While claims of fraud have been plenty, has any independent investigation happened? NO.

Have independent auditors been allowed to compare signatures on mail-in ballot envelopes vs signatures on file? NO

Have any law enforcement officials been allowed to arrest any person who appears to have voted illegally? NOT THAT I AM AWARE OF.

And the above examples do not include any investigation into the voting machines to see how much fraud was committed there.

Government officials have stonewalled any attempt to investigate.

I live in Denver, they closed their downtown office.

I don't much care about the corporate pecking order of the office.

We have no evidence Dominion uses Smartmatic's software or vice versa.

What is the hard evidence that Dominion uses Smartmatic's software? I don't think there is any.

No evidence has been offered that Dominion or Smartmatic used software or reprogrammed software that manipulated votes in the 2020 election.

I don't think any of the experts who believe the software manipulated votes claimed Dominion did so. Some of them testified that the software could easily be reprogrammed to do that. I believe there is one who says it did happen in Antrim County, but he never said Dominion did it.

I think those are the two most sensational of the claims that Newsmax mentions. Trying to defend any of the claims they are disavowing in a court of law would put them in a very difficult position IMO.

Many hitting Newsmax over this.

1. Litigation to destroy is a tactic the left uses often. Kamala Harris prosecuted the whistleblowers exposing the selling of baby body parts - not the actual planned parenthood criminals

2. Recent events have shown our court system has been completely corrupted with Clinton, Bush, and Obama appointees. Saying “see us in court” requires judges that follow the law. Ask General Flynn how that worked out.

Newsmax is underfunded but has emerged as a strong voice. It’ll be targeted by Media Matters and the other groups that attack sponsors and seek to destroy.

Leftists want ALL opposition voices banned as “hate speech.” And “hate speech is non speech.”

Enjoy a bit for First Amendment while you can. The 54 states and 15 Supreme Court justices won’t keep it legal for long.

They’re all using the same base software source code. That’s the main reason the companies were all bought/sold between one another.

NewsMax has guests on talking about Dominion & Smartmatic - NewsMax doesn’t do their own investigating.

That’s why the statement:
“Newsmax has found no evidence either Dominion or Smartmatic owns the other, or has any business association with each other.
We have no evidence Dominion uses Smartmatic’s software or vice versa.”

Dominion and Smartmatic have yet to file even one lawsuit. Because discovery, discovery, discovery.

Newsmax is a group of studio actors, a studio, a business entity, with cameras, lights, staff, schedulers, and managers.

Of course they have no proof of any connection to anything.

They are not liable for what their guests say. It’s up to their viewers to weigh the veracity of any particular guest.

But what we do see, we see the muckrakers on the left whooping it up that Newsmax was forced to back down.

Newsmax did not back down, they clarified their role as intermediaries of commentary.

Example:

If I interview a Trump supporter and ask them what they think of Joe-Ho taking over the WH, they might answer “The country will go communist”. If I ask the same Trump supporter why they think that, they might respond, “Because Joe-Ho are communists.”

II have no proof that Joe-Ho are communists. I might have a thought or an idea but no proof. I might even find substantial circumstantial evidence and I might ask the question.

Now taken to the larger picture, Sidney Powell and others are being ‘threatened’ with defamation lawsuits by Dominion, Smartmatic etc. No lawsuits have been filed and none will be because this is all for show.

There is a difference between threatening a lawsuit and actually filing a lawsuit.

This threat to Newsmax is nothing more than a threat.

Newsmax had two choices, tell the threatening party to file their frivolous lawsuit or make a ‘clarification’. Telling them to file their lawsuit would have caused legal expense by retaining a law firm. Said law firm would require a retainer fee of say $50,000, maybe less but maybe more.

It was much less expensive to air that Newsmax is merely an intermediary to commentary. The leftists don’t like it, tough do-do.

But then Newsmax is said by the screaming hounds of the left to have ‘retracted’ their false ‘claim’ of Yada Yada Yada. This is ka-ka. It’s a game.

The party making the threat is running around saying they got Newsmax to back down.

And there will be those that chime in saying “Newsmax is a weakling!!!”

This is by design.

“””Dominion and Smartmatic have yet to file even one lawsuit. Because discovery, discovery, discovery.”””

And if any Dominion and Smartmatic lawsuit gets into court, the machines will be cleaner than Hillary’s Email Server.

Most States do require that all documents from an election has to be kept for two years. Whether that includes the vote counting machines I do not know.
