Shocking details of the giant bill passed by both the US Senate and the US House of Representatives on Tuesday exposes how civil servants in DC view their host, the American Taxpayer, including one amendment that was attached to the spending bill that would limit the President’s Constitutional authority as Commander and Chief.
In a shocking power grab the power-drunk office dwellers hid in the 5,893-page bill a provision that says: “Nullifies the President’s use of the Insurrection Act.”

Execute once Congress attempts to override his veto.
Now that’ll be a lot of fun!!!
President Trump needs to veto it and at the same time initiate the insurrection act.
Now that tells me they take this as a real possibility. Freepers should pay attention to this.
Stupid fake news.
Of course the President should “certify” his reasons to Congress.
Anything else would be blatant tyranny.
That is one reason why he is vetoing it!
WHERE is Vlad Tepes when you need him? He could have used rolled up copies of this ridiculous COVID “relief” bill instead of stakes and returned the bill from whence it emerged from Dimmocommie nether body orifices.
These DC Swamp dwellers are evil AND stupid.
Do they not think POTUS and Deplorables won’t find/see this cr@p?
Love POTUS’ vid, tonight, naming their pork, line by line.
Why the Insurrection Act has yet to be invoked is a huge question to me. All our Commander-In-Chief needs to do is make the call. I am ready and still able to answer that call! I’m not getting any younger, though!
PATRIOT PING
Merry Christmas!
I will be honest with you all, I have never even heard of the Insurrection Act until recently. I won’t pretend to know what it implies. I’ll just need to Google it up.
The act sounds like something related to starting a war as a matter of defense.
They expected Trump wouldn’t have read every line of the bill, you don’t become a billionaire by not reading what you sign.
Check....and checkmate.
Those 6,000 pages will come in handy in the event of another toilet paper shortage.
someone here took the trouble to see if this is correct because I am too lazy to do it.
Poster said this is part of the NDAA not the Covid Bill.
Put that in the toilet in the bathrooms of the speaker of the house’s office in the capitol
Insurrection Act has nothing to do with the Constitution, except as far as it should follow it. So such arguments are specious.
Meanwhile, I’m highly reticent of using it over such an issue.
It SHOULD have been used against all the rioters and their enablers this year. This has gone on long enough and IS insurrection.
It COULD have been used against the scofflaw enablers of illegal immigrants for years! They are blatantly flouting federal law.
This election stuff...much more nebulous. And much more dangerous as far as essentially...creating insurrection.
