We have entered the Twilight Zone
American Thinker ^ | Robert Arvay

With the refusal of the US Supreme Court to even hear the facts of the election fraud case, we have reached a political and societal singularity. In physics, a singularity is a condition in which all the known laws of nature seem to break down. In sociology, a tipping point is reached, in which the entire social order can be abruptly dismantled. In either case, the result is unpredictable. No one knows what will happen. We have entered the twilight zone.

A few months ago, what is happening now was inconceivable, an Orwellian fantasy. No one could have believed that a presidential election could have been stolen at all, much less, stolen in plain view.

Worst of all, all those entrusted to safeguard the system seem to have been complicit in the crime. The Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the courts themselves, refuse to investigate, or even listen, despite the blatant overtness of the fraud.

Can a society survive corruption as deep and as widespread as the rot that has infested our political system?

No doubt, those in the highest positions of power feel confident that a collapse of the present order will benefit them. They have good reason to believe that. They will garner unto themselves wealth and power unprecedented in human history. Operating from the shadows, no one will hold them accountable. Those who are in plain view will be protected by the armed might, and impenetrable technology, that this nation has produced.

Of the ordinary citizenry, about half are hopelessly deceived and indoctrinated; like sheep to the slaughter, they will accept the supposed benevolence of tyranny. Those who resist will soon find themselves confronting overwhelming force, not merely in the form of weapons of war, but also in the stealth technology...

We have entered the times spoken or prophesied of in the Book of Revelations in the Bible. Make no mistake we are there.

Our Upside-down Postelection World
Townhall.com ^ | December 24, 2020 | Victor Davis Hanson
FR Posted on 12/24/2020, 7:36:54 AM by Kaslin

After Nov. 3, the meaning of some words and concepts abruptly changed. Have you noticed how new realities have replaced old ones?

Media cross-examination of the president is now an out-of-date idea. The time for gotcha questions has come and gone. Why ask a president whether he is a traitor or a crook when you can focus on his favorite flavor of milkshake or compliment him on his socks?

The old pre-election truth was that new vaccines take years to develop. The new postelection truth is that it’s no big deal to bring out new vaccines in nine months.

Impeaching a first-term president after his first midterm election — on a strictly partisan vote, for political reasons other than the Constitution’s “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors” — is now a terrible idea.

Worse would be to appoint a special counsel to harass a president on unfounded charges of collusion with China. An even scarier notion would be a conservative dream team of partisan lawyers hounding President Joe Biden — using a 22-month, $40 million blank check.

It would be unprofessional for university psychologists and physicians from a distance to diagnose, in pop fashion, the mental faculties of a President Biden.

Certainly, there would never be talk about Department of Justice officials contemplating wearing a wire as part of an entrapment scheme to remove a President Biden through the 25th Amendment. That would almost constitute a coup attempt.

As long as The Dread Coward Roberts is in charge of SCOTUS we do not have equal justice. What would our founders think of the cowards in all three branches of government today. How many of our leaders today would have had the courage to sign the Declaration of Independence? I dare say none. That is truly a shame.

Dark, but I can’t say I disagree. There is something very frightening going on.

Bleak as it appears if one did the numbers the two sides are not evenly matched.

I mentioned how to view or size up a force a long time ago, given the situation of late it would be prudent to review the strategy used by those in the past that had to deal with large forces, urban and inner city warfare, and then guestimate the logistics of those areas and their being put into a state of stagnation...

I will revisit this and see if others have input

Regards

No one could have believed that a presidential election could have been stolen at all ...

Why not? It's been done before. 1960 was a stolen election.

The government is dishonest to the core. It is fundamentally rot. Intellecutal dishonesty and brute force reign. Rule of law is a farce, and everybody knows it.

Twilight Zone meets Monty Python.

Let’s all enjoy Christmas and then kick some ass in the New Year. We have no choice. We either hang together or hang separately.

Worst of all, all those entrusted to safeguard the system seem to have been complicit in the crime.

It would be fascinating to actually know what is going on behind the scenes...why, for example, vast numbers of public officials are going along with this obvious theft of our country.

It is most likely a mixture of outright bribes, indoctrination, intimidation, confusion, and willful blindness that prevents those in positions of power from stepping up to save the country, but we can't be sure where the lines are drawn and who is behind it all.

It is weird to say the least. Insane and mind-bending. Borderline hallucinogenic.

Those of us who thought the rise of the AntiChrist and the onset of Armageddon had to fit into some sensible, logical, and rational framework can fuggetabadit. Considering what happened in this last election, anything seems possible.

The Great Flood? No biggie. Noah's Ark? Sure, why not?

Alien spaceships landing on town squares around the world? Let me finish my coffee and feed the cats...then I'll get my pistol and take a look.

What has been happening re this election and its subsequent after effects of investigation is easily explained with one word.

Cowardice. I am both enraged and embarrassed for the spineless Judges and politicians who have so totally abrogated their responsibilities.

Those few brave souls who have come forward need to be celebrated and rewarded and anyone threatening them in any way shape or form need to be punished severely even if it tales a new specific law to get this done.

Carved in stone above the DOJ entrance, “Repression breeds violence” and “Where justice ends tyranny begins”/

Well we no longer have justice in America and conservatives speech is being suppressed.

-- Where does it say SC won't hear? --

I think that is a reference to a recent denial, the one that supposedly had CJ Roberts raising his voice. A couple of dissents from denial.

That was the case brought by TX, 16 or 25 other states joining, against PA, MI, WI, GA ... and I think AZ and NM were defendants too.

Merry Christmas, nikos!

I think the politicians are mostly just gutless, self serving weasels and won’t stand up until they’re forced to. And there’s nothing to force them to. No grand conspiracy or bribery theory is needed to understand that.

I really don’t want to share a country with these Marxists and hypocrites. I don’t think it is possible, any more, either.

"There is something very frightening going on."

It's Christmas morning - what did the angels say to the shepherds: "Do not be afraid..."

Paul, in his 2nd letter to Timothy said: "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

The unknown is always fearful, but we do not have to walk into it alone.
"The Lord is my shepherd...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me - Your rod and your staff, they comfort me..."

And also, we're STILL Americans - we "will NOT go quietly into that good night...."

Have a blessed Christmas Day.

.....1960 was also a stolen election.....

Not to utter a discouraging word on the birthday of Jesus........
but comparing 2020's steal w/ 1960 is apples and oranges.

================================

Americans were led to believe that Biden “set a record“ for the number of votes in a presidential election.

Yet, there are any number of elements that seem implausible:
<><> his invisible campaign conducted while Biden hunkered down in his basement,
<><> his startling inability to attract anyone to his campaign stops.

Harris is even more difficult to fathom. She is heralded as pulling in "more voters" than President Obama.
<><> yet, Harris was forced out of the presidential primary,
<><> her support had dropped to less than one percent AMONG DEMOCRATS,
<><> in their first appearance together, NO ONE showed up.

Who actually supported and voted for Biden/Harris in record numbers in this election cycle…
other than the dead and buried, amorphous algorithms, and phantom voters out of a China print shop?

The elitist, unmitigated contempt in which Democrats and Biden hold Americans was never more apparent.
