Trail life is probably the best alternative at the moment, but looks pretty churchy. Boy Scouts is and always was more military in outlook. It literally means boy “scooters”. As in military scouts, reconnaissance type activity.
It needs just enough church to make it moral, but it doesn’t need to be outdoors Sunday school.
Hell at Russ point I guess anything is better than the homo scouts.
There are actually many alternatives, but Trail Life is a good one.
