Intensive care units in Southern California and the San Joaquin Valley have no capacity remaining.This may have a kernel of truth to it. What group of people use the ER as their Primary Care Physician? What group of people are over-represented as a demographic in SoCal and San Joaquin Valley?
You have to consider all the factors, and of course, the news report will fail to mention this.
