There was a New York Times full-page spread back in March or April about people who died from it. It was startling to see how many highly accomplished people in their 40s and 50s died from it. It was a real sobering look at the devastation of the disease.

It's becoming shocking seeing such a death as this one given all the advancements in treatment protocols.

Yesterday, somebody posted a link to A Guide to Home-Based COVID Treatment. As we know, not all doctors in the US are on-board with the treatment protocols. As this document points out, you need to find a doctor NOW who will administer these protocols even though key elements are missing the Randomized Controlled Trial studies. The document points out we are in a difficult situation and doctors need to use what works by trial, not necessarily waiting until the RCTs are all completed and results wrapped up in a neat package. You should print this document out (or the similar one by EVMS) and keep it handy as well as instruct your loved ones on what should be done if you get sick.

thanks for this. I am switching docs because mine said he would not treat and would only refer me to the ER if symptoms were severe.
