Easy to see some of the lasting changes. What Trump did in the middle east is incredible. Anyone 10, 50 or 100 years from now will know of it and come to respect it. Trump tied every foreign policy decision to access to American economic might and he was not at all afraid to use that might. Trump was unbelievably transparent. He negotiated a lot in public, with the cameras rolling. He really exposed the political class and more than hinted at how the sausage is made. Trump revealed to anyone who was willing to see that the United States of America is far from a free country.
