I do think you’re right, though, and that they fully intend to arrest Trump and even his family as soon as he is no longer president, no matter how this happens. I hope he has a plan.

Trump's options are limited, not many countries he can hide in. Russia is one, that might be it. Joe Biden could pardon him but his handlers will never allow him to do that.

2 - Invoking the amendment would make matters much worse, as it would enrage everyone who supports President Trump. President Trump is not disabled and so invoking Section 4 of the 25th Amendment would clearly be a political act.
