David Corn of the left-wing website Mother Jones is declaring President Donald Trump “a terrorist leader” after protesters breached the United States Capitol on Wednesday.
Following protests at the U.S. Capitol, Corn ran a headline, titled “Donald Trump Is Now a Terrorist Leader,” declaring “This is what Donald Trump has unleashed upon the United States: an unprecedented act of domestic terrorism.”
Corn writes in Mother Jones:
Trump owned this terrorism. He has whipped up his cultish followers with lies and conspiracy theories. At a rally on Wednesday morning, Trump told his supporters that the 2020 election was a grave crime and that Republicans and Democrats on the Hill were about to destroy American democracy by accepting the results. (During that event, Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s lawyer and chief coup-stirrer, called for “trial by combat.”) Trump directed his frenzied supporters toward the Capitol, where they breached police lines and took over the building. They shut down Congress. They terrorized lawmakers and staff, they fought with security forces, they broke American democracy. [Emphasis added]

Corn has always been a batshit crazy red be it when he was with “The Nation”, “Mother Jones”, or even a few lesser Marxist weekly news rags.
He was one of a Trilogy of Disinformation writers for The Nation, with Victor Navasky being a defender/cover-upper of the Communist Party, Stephen Cohen being the Soviet’s top disinformation spreader on how great things were there, and Corn being the smear artist/disinformation on many issues, all working under Cohen’s Marxist wife, Katrina Van den Heuvel, Navasky’s successor as editor of “The Nation” (which was, for decades, led by CPUSA member and propagandist Carey McWilliams).
