The president of Chicago’s police union came to the defense of the pro-Trump rioters who stormed the Capitol Wednesday, arguing that referring to the the demonstrators as “treasonous” is “beyond ridiculous and ignorant.”
In a phone interview Wednesday evening with Chicago public radio station WBEZ, John Catanzara, who leads the city’s Fraternal Order of Police, claimed that the riots, which led to four deaths and many more injuries, was the result of “a bunch of pissed-off people that feel an election was stolen, somehow, some way.”
“There was no arson, there was no burning of anything, there was no looting, there was very little destruction of property,” Catanzara told the local news outlet.

Yet the author can’t resist “rioters” as her preferred term. Well, they did break some windows and doors. Not like they burned the city or the Capitol. Or shot anybody.

I’m glad there is someone/organization in Chicago that is pro-American and has the balls to stand up and say so.
They haven’t had an honest mayor since the Stone Age. Many of their City Council members have been communists, crooks and crazies.
Crime is rampant and the police are no longer allowed to fight it realistically.
This city is for shit. I would say “Get out if you can” ASAP as it is doomed to die of internal corruption and Marxism.

How many of them were the direct result of a pro-Trump protestor's violent actions against someone else (not himself a pro-Trump protestor)? Deaths of pro-Trump protestors should thus not be included in this figure.

Three of them were medical events, is what I read. One of thise may have been a heart attack triggered by a flash-bang.

One Capitol Police Officer is dead, sixty are injured, four civilians are dead one of which was shot by the Capitol Police. Still think it was no big deal?
How many are actually due to violence? From everything I have seen the count is one person shot by police and the rest were medical events. If you have evidence otherwise, post it.

There are conflicting posts that the cop did not die, had a stroke or heart attack but did not die. His wife said he had health issues.
