Amid a standoff over actions to potentially remove President Trump from office, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has told colleagues she phoned the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to discuss 'precautions' to prevent Trump from starting a war or accessing nuclear launch codes.
Pelosi released the letter just minutes before House Democrats were to meet to discuss whether to go ahead with a second impeachment of Trump, after he egged on his supporters in their march to the Capitol that led to a riot and multiple deaths – including of a Capitol Police officer.
She headed her comment: 'Preventing an Unhinged President From Using the Nuclear Codes' in a 'Dear Colleague' letter.

Nancy!
Please put down the bottle!
right? this warmonger pigs in DC hated POTUS because he wasn’t one. Remeber all the “he’s going to get us in to WW3” bullshit?
Oh and the fake nuclear attack someone in charge “accidentally” sent to user’s phones in Hawaii after Trump took office? these loons are in charge now. GREAT!
Ok. The first guy who has not use any military action in his four years is suddenly going too. Sure...
This is about as low as she can go.
Don’t sell her short. There IS no depth the left
won’t reach in order to secure power.
If Nanzi had her way he would have been dragged out
by his hair and hanged in front of the Washington Monument.
They may just settle for political and social crucifixion.
Now it might be time for the Insurrection Act.
Hopefully his answer was “None of your business, Madam Speaker.”
Keep pushing and pushing and pushing ... you very likely won’t like the result that draws nearer with each new poke.
So she’s worried about this when we have the first president in my lifetime who didn’t get America involved in another stupid war in another Third World sh!t-hole?

don’t worry, the money machine aka war will ramp up again soon.
Nancys statement makes it very likely another nation will try to exploit perceived weakness.
Americans allowed the corruption to succeed.
Wasn’t she the one who recently talked about needing nukes to deal with Trump?
Sadly, I think something like this was inevitable and it will likely happen again.
I am not ready to say this was specifically a “conspiracy” because I have expected it for a long time. They pretty much guaranteed it over the last year. “Protestors” entered the Governor’s mansion in WA state the same day, but it did not get much press with the hysteria at the capital.
They have been primed with the narrative through years of gaslighting and now they had “video” and a story that fit the narrative they have pushed on the public. It was predictable.
I will admit that I am taken aback at the level of hysteria. I suppose I should not be. I am saddened for the loss of the life of the young lady and I certainly believe that some of what we witnessed was by anarchists who may or may not be Trump supporters, but let us all know the truth. A mob is a mob and many people, even those not predisposed to “mob behavior”, can easily become swept up in it.
What are you talking about?
Cues for her deranged base. Talk about inciting mayhem.
“Never let a crisis go to waste.”
To clarify - I think almost all of the people on the mall that day were the same folks who showed up at Trump rallies or those who stand and hold signs in our cities or towns. Just good folks exercising their 1st Amendment right to “protest”.
It only takes a few people with bad intent or caught up in the moment to ruin it for the rest.
That and talking about impeachment, which will NEVER happen.
Crazy Nancy.
“Never let a crisis go to waste.”
Yep. Our national media has also become a “crisis generator” and our “leaders” appear to follow their lead.
I really hate this woman. She is evil and is really doing more damage by her BS.
